I am an intermediate golfer traveling to Bermuda this summer. Where is the best place to play a round that also will not be super expensive? I will be playing with a friend who has no golf experience, does this factor and advice you might give me?

hi there and hope you will enjoy bermuda in summer (will be a hot one) lol =)
most resorts/hotels here have their own golf course. the popular ones include: port royal ($$), mid ocean ($$), belmont ($$$), southampton princess ($$$) and tucker's point ($$$$$). the "$" are just rough estimates as to how much it would be to use the course. since some are also a hotel or resort, it maybe more expensive!! not 100% sure though...(i dont play golf) =p
the places that are not super expensive of what i mentioned are basically all of them besides tucker's point!!! i know that at ones like port royal, many people (locals icluded) like this one. it is located in southampton parish.
i would suggest for your non-experienced friend maybe you both can go to the "driving range" also in southampton parish. here you can smack (practise) golf balls as far as you can!! it is a great warm up exercise! in this same place is also the (only) mini golf place!!!
if you want more info on the individual courses and prices than you can go to www.bermuda4u.com as they have many details =)
best of luck!!!
